National Football League announces times, dates for 2018 London games

The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London on October 28 as part of Week 8 of the 2018 season, the National Football League announced Thursday. The league announced on Thursday that Los Angeles will play the Titans on Sunday, October 21 at 6:30 AM Pacific Time.

Kickoff is reportedly scheduled at 8:20 p.m. ET.

The Atlanta Falcons kick off their 2018 schedule with a rematch against the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on 11Alive and NBC. Also, the teams faced each other last season with Carson Wentz throwing for three touchdowns.

This season's Mexico City game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams at Estadio Azteca will take place on November 19 (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN). The Birds also will play Thursday Night football in Week 6 in NY against the Giants on October 11.

The NFL began playing regular-season games in London in 2008 when the New York Giants downed the Miami Dolphins 13-10 in front of 81,176 fans.

L.A. already know their opponents, but they will find out the dates and times for those matchups.

Dates for the NFL's four worldwide games have also leaked ahead of tonight's schedule reveal.

The Vikings also finalized the dates for their preseason schedule on Thursday night, and will open the exhibition schedule in Denver on August 11.

The Jaguars will host the Philadelphia Eagles in London in a Week 8 clash of Super Bowl contenders.
