Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday had a series of bilateral meetings including discussions with his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina and Seychelles President Danny Faure on the sidelines of the multilateral Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in London. "This is Modi. When someone has put a terror export factory in place and makes attempts to attack us from the back, Modi knows how to answer in the same language", Modi said.

London:India and Britain on Wednesday condemned terrorism in all its forms and agreed to strengthen cooperation to take "decisive and concerted actions" against globally-proscribed terrorists and terror entities while naming Pakistan-based terror outfits following talks between Prime Ministers Narendra Modi of India and Theresa May of Britain.

"This is my conviction that criticism is the beauty of democracy", said Modi during an interactive session of the "Bharat Ki Baat, Sabke Saath" diaspora event at the Central Hall in Westminster.

The prime minister said the recent cases of sexual assault were a matter of shame for India.

Dr Faisal said widespread protests in India over the brutal torture and murder of Muslim minor girl Asifa in Kathua, IHK was a big failure of Indian government. To criticise, one has to research and find proper facts. "How can we tolerate this exploitation of our daughters? it is an evil of not just the individual but also of the society; nobody can tolerate such incidents and it should not be politicised", Modi said.

The interaction, which lasted for more than two hours, saw Modi highlighting achievements of his government in the past about four years to build electoral momentum for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Jeremy Hunt said: "I am proud that our NHS will be used as an example of gold standard healthcare in India - it is only right that our world-leading knowledge and expertise is shared across the globe. Democracy can not succeed without constructive criticism", he added. "Through press [reports] I know that he used to criticize me for not speaking up". It is the other way around and India is backing terrorists in Pakistan. As many as twelve people were taken to hospital where they are in stable condition, hospital officials said. "That is where I draw my strength from", Modi said.

Closer home, the Indian Prime Minister spoke of how New Delhi has played its role in the Rohingya refugee crisis by sending aid to Bangladesh. "Always remember the country, not Modi", he said. Be it his fiery speeches at public events, his radio programme Mann Ki Baat or his responses in Parliament, Modi knows how to capture an audience with fantastic answers.
