Cowboys either are or aren't interested in Ndamukong Suh

Tannehill is the second contract the Dolphins restructured before the NFL's first official day of the league year started on Wednesday.

A club source said the Cowboys aren't interested in Suh at the price he'll command as a free agent now that he's been officially released by the Dolphins.

That sounds enticing for plenty of teams, even if Suh just turned 31 in January and plays a position that becomes increasingly harder on the body as time goes on.

This move allows the Dolphins to get out of the final three years of his six-year, $114.3 million deal with the team where he scheduled to make around $76.6 million over that span.

Now, Suh will enter the open market likely still commanding a per-year salary in the mid-teens ($12 million-$17 million range).

In 2017, Suh had 48 tackles, 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.

So where might the defensive tackle who was scheduled to carry a $26.1 million cap hit in 2018 land in the coming days? Things on this front should pick up significantly over the next few days.
