One dies in WA stabbing and vehicle incident

Police have charged a 20-year-old woman with murdering a 17-year-old boy and with attempting to kill four other teenagers in the Perth suburb of Canning Vale yesterday.

It ended when a vehicle ploughed into a group of boys aged between 16 and 17, who were waiting at a bus stop on Eucalyptus Boulevard.

One of the boys, aged 17, was thrown through the windscreen of the auto and was taken to hospital, where he later died.

Emergency services said they took five people to the Royal Perth and Fiona Stanley hospitals.

Witnesses reported seeing teens from the nearby Canning Vale College fighting before the chaos unfolded.

Police say two teenage boys have been taken into custody and are assisting detectives with their inquiries.

"First of all we heard a big bang and me and my husband were sitting in front of the TV, there was [a] casualty next to the auto - they were covered by blood", she said.

They used towels and sheets to put pressure on wounds and went and got water for them.

Four people were hit by a red Skyline on Eucalyptus Boulevard around 4.15pm, with a teen crashing through the front windscreen.

"This was unrelated young people that have ended up having a disagreement and it's just ended up spilling out and becoming bigger than it really needed to be", he said.

Yesterday, police cordoned off three separate crime scenes - one at the fast food store, one on the bus stop at Eucalyptus Boulevard and another at the liquor store. "When I sat down I thought 'did that just happen?"
