Manhunt Continues For Ortonville Shooting Suspect

Schools in at least three districts are closed on Wednesday, citing the threat of a police situation involving a shooter who remains on the loose. The shooting happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment in Ortonville on Village Court.

Praski said the two victims are listed in critical condition in an area hospital.

Police say the female victim is the suspect's wife, and that she had just recently filed for divorce. Police have been looking for Quigley ever since, and told people in the community to lock their doors and stay inside.

Captain Gary Miller told WXYZ that Quigley is believed to be on foot but could have gotten into a auto. A 3-year-old was also present at the home but was not injured in the shooting. But while the search continues for Quigley, the Brandon School District, Clarkston Community Schools and Oxford Community Schools have closed for the day.

This is a developing story.
