LeBron James on Charlottesville Hate Rally:

LeBron James took to Twitter to voice his condemnation of the white supremacist demonstrations in Charlottesville, Va., that turned violent and the manner in which President Donald Trump responded to the situation.

"It's sad what's going on in Charlottesville", LeBron tweeted. Trump's campaign had used the phrase "Make America Great Again" as its main slogan and it's continued to use it to support Trump's political agenda since taking office in January. During the chaos, one person was killed and 35 others injured when a auto rammed into a crowd of counter-protesters.

White nationalist, white supremacist and alt-right groups were initially scheduled to gather in Charlottesville's Emancipation Park Saturday to protest the city's decision to remove a Confederate statue there.

LeBron, who founded his own charity The LeBron James Family Foundation to help better child development through improved education and extracurricular activities, questioned if the current state of the country is fit to properly raise young adults.

The King has spoken with displeasure about the violence and white terrorism that took place in Charlottesville, Virginia.
