Transfer Rumor Roundup: Trio to Chelsea; Dembele to Everton

If Lukaku leaves Everton, as expected, this summer, then the Toffees are lining up Celtic striker Moussa Dembele as his direct replacement, according to the Daily Post.

Former Chelsea attacker Joe Cole has claimed that Everton forward Romelu Lukaku would be the ideal player to replace Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge.

With Diego Costa's future uncertain, Lukaku would be the main man up top for Chelsea but he'd return for a huge transfer fee and with huge expectations following his failure to break into the Chelsea team from 2012-14 before being sold to Everton.

Despite previous reports of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku moving to German giants Bayern Munich, it looks like Chelsea will re-sign the Belgian global.

Everton striker Lukaku has told his representatives that he wants a move away from Goodison Park as he attempts to seal a return to Chelsea.

Morata played under Conte during their spell together at Juventus but he is also attracting interest from Manchester United, who have tabled a bid for the Spain global.

"Obviously the Costa thing has come out", Cole told Goal. Conte has told him that he wants him out so you would be looking at a striker, ' the ex-England winger told Goal.

Chelsea will then face Arsenal in the Community Shield and Burnley in the Premier League on the opening day of the season.

The refusal to budge by both sets of Blues means that negotiations could be a protracted ordeal, but given that Lukaku is likely the best striker available on the market, Everton will know that someone will probably pony up the requested 100 million in time.

Both Costa and Lukaku finished behind England global Kane in the race to the Premier League's golden boot after the Tottenham star netted 29 times in the top flight last term.
