Orlando Magic, Disney Agree on Jersey Sponsorship for 2017-18 Season

The Magic are one of eight National Basketball Association franchises to sign a jersey sponsor as part of the league's three-year pilot program.

The Orlando Magic have added a pinch of Disney magic to their uniforms.

The NBA has started a pilot program placing ads on their jerseys, and starting in the 2017-18 season the Disney logo will appear on a 2½-inch-by-2½-inch space on the front left of Magic jerseys. "This long-term relationship symbolizes our shared focus of solidifying Orlando as a world class city for sports". Disney-branded Orlando Magic jerseys will also be available for purchase at the Amway Center.

Recently, the Timberwolves announced they'll have a Fitbit patch in the same location on their jersey's. The Orlando Sentinel notes that the area of arena formerly known as the Southwest Airlines Flight Deck will now be the Disney Passholder Porch and be designated for WDW APs who can upgrade their seats. In addition, the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF) which serves at-risk youth, has distributed more than $22 million to local nonprofit community organizations over the last 27 years. Walt Disney World Resort is also included in vacation packages of Disney Cruise Line.
