George Clooney and Amal Clooney have become proud parents to twins, daughter Ella and son Alexander.

And George revealed he and Amal have "decided to be much more responsible" after finding out they were expecting twins.

George and Amal Clooney have their hands full.

Meanwhile, fans also gave a shout-out to Beyoncé, who's also carrying twins and will possibly give birth some time this month as well.

George Clooney is best known for films like the Ocean's series of movies, Michael Clayton, The Descendants and Gravity.

The couple Wednesday September 2014, with some typically gorgeous star-studded nuptials in Venice, Italy.

They were born on Tuesday morning, the actor's publicist Stan Rosenfield told the BBC.

He said the babies were both "happy, healthy and doing fine", and joked: "George is sedated and should recover in a few days".

Clooney's close pal Matt Damon apparently nearly started crying when he heard the happy news about the couple.

'Before, I did not care, I would even say that there was a pretty exciting side to going where no reporter had ever been'. Every day, one of them is like, 'It's going to be today.

"I think it's the most responsible thing you can do, to have kids", Clooney told PEOPLE in 2006.

It didn't take long for social media to ignite with celebrity well wishes for the new additions to the Clooney household.

For a while, it seemed as if Clooney's self-titled "single man" status was here to stay, but after meeting Amal, his stance on getting married and settling down changed.

At the time of the pregnancy announcement, the former bachelor admitted he was looking forward to becoming a dad.

No one knows why George is under the influence of sedative drugs, but perhaps, he needed them to deal with the stress?
