It's official: the 2017 National Football League schedule is coming Thursday.

As for the NFL schedule release, the NFL has announced it will happen at 5:00 pm Pacific time (8pm ET) in a two-hour NFL Network special.

Key questions for Raiders fans include finding out when they'll play the world champion New England Patriots in Mexico City, and when will they play their first game in Los Angeles since 1994? We're also looking at how many primetime games the Chiefs have this year.

KC also plays the Dallas Cowboys on the road, so a Thursday night Thanksgiving game could be in play for the Chiefs.

We know the 49ers will play a Thursday Night Football game, but we don't know yet about any other potential prime time games.
