Patrick Kluivert's son Justin scores first senior Ajax goal

Kluivert made the starting lineup on Sunday afternoon for head coach Peter Bosz's side with Kasper Dolberg out with an injury.

The 17-year-old was heavily involved in the action early on as he made an excellent last ditch challenge to prevent Mike van Duinen getting in on goal.

Justin Kluivert, the 17-year-old son of former Netherlands striker Patrick, has scored his first goal for Ajax as they drew with Excelsior in the Eredivisie.

The attacker's first Eredivisie goal came 10 years and one day after his father last struck in the Eredivisie, scoring PSV's only goal in a 5-1 defeat versus Ajax.

Kenny Tete's own goal six minutes beforehand had given Excelsior the lead.

Kluivert Jr only broke into the first-team in January after grabbing his first professional goal for Ajax's second team in December.

Kluivert Snr enjoyed a stellar career which saw him score 50 goals in 97 appearances at Ajax before securing a move to AC Milan.
